Foundation Stage

Nursery & Creche

Our Nursery and Creche provides a warm, structured, and stimulating environment where children aged 2–5 take their first and most important steps in learning.

We follow an activity-based, play-centred approach rooted in the NERDC Early Childhood Care and Development curriculum. Every classroom is designed to spark curiosity, build confidence, and lay the cognitive, social and emotional foundations for a lifetime of learning.

Play-Based Learning

Structured play that develops motor skills, language, creativity and social intelligence through fun, age-appropriate activities.

Music, Arts & Movement

Songs, rhymes, drawing, drama and dance build creativity, emotional expression and early literacy in every child.

Christian Moral Formation

Age-appropriate Bible stories, morning devotion and godly character values introduced gently from day one.

Feeding & Nutrition

Proper monitoring for healthy eating. Trained teachers and caregivers ensure every child eats, rests, and is safe at all times.

Primary School

Building Strong Foundations

Primary 1 through Primary 6 — six critical years where academic foundations are laid, character is shaped, and children grow into confident, disciplined, and curious young learners.

Our Primary programme is fully aligned with the NERDC primary curriculum and enriched with additional literacy, numeracy, and science activities. Small class sizes (max 30 pupils) ensure every child receives personalised attention from our caring, qualified teachers.

Literacy & Numeracy Focus

Strong emphasis on reading, writing, comprehension, and arithmetic in the early primary years — skills that underpin all future learning.

Basic Science & Technology

Hands-on experiments in our junior science lab introduce primary pupils to the wonders of science from Primary 3 onwards.

ICT Integration

All primary pupils have weekly computer lessons in our ICT lab. Technology is embedded across subjects for 21st-century readiness.

Academic & Cultural Competitions

Inter-class quiz competitions, spelling bees, cultural days, and National Primary Science Olympiad participation every term.

Secondary School

Preparing Champions
for the World

JSS1 through SS3 — six years of rigorous academic preparation, holistic development, and examination excellence that opens doors to the best universities in Nigeria and beyond.

Our Secondary programme runs two distinct streams: the Junior Secondary School (JSS1–JSS3) leading to the BECE, and the Senior Secondary School (SS1–SS3) leading to WAEC and NECO. Students choose from Science, Commercial, or Arts tracks in SS1, guided by career counselling and individual strengths.

JSS 1 – JSS 3 covers the full Junior Secondary curriculum. All students take a broad range of 14 core subjects before sitting the Basic Education Certificate Examination (BECE) in JSS3. GDB has maintained a 100% BECE pass rate every year since 2014.
